Emma
Our new little kitten. We've named her Emma. She showed up on our doorstep a couple days before thanksgiving. We're guessing she's no more than 8 months old....she's adorable and very playful and snuggly.

All Decorated for Christmas
Here's some pictures of our house all decorated for christmas. We didn't do much besides put lights up out side, set up a tree and a manger scene. But we think it looks nice and festive.

Just simple and colorful icicle lights on the porch and regular strands of lights running up and down the rest of the front of the house. Oh and we've painted the trim on the house white since we last posted any pictures.

The tree in the living room and also the tree in Ryan's office

And last but not least is our nice little nativity scene...

Cave Springs in Raytown,MO (Nov 1st)
The following pics are from a walk Ryan and I took at the beginning of the month down in Raytown, MO at a nature center by where my parents live. The place is called Cave Springs. We saw some deer while we were there, but never got any good pictures of them otherwise I'd post some. They seemed to be all over the place this time...

For those who know Ryan's personality.....
this should be no suprise to you to see him on a roof painting....oh and did I mention repelling down the roof in the process. These pics are from a job we did this summer back in July. We painted this guys house and there were certian parts of the house that just couldn't be reached by a ladder, so Ryan (and his creative mind) decided that repelling down the roof to get to those areas would work (and be fun!). It was quite the display of talent if you ask me. Can't say that I ever seen someone repell down a roof let alone paint a house while repelling.
